The PDSTdivegroup is always happy to meet with prospective new crew members.

Our membership criteria may seem a little tough, but please remember that you must be able to work in a zero visibility environment (not always the case, but it is common) and be confident that you can look after yourself and your buddy if a problem occurs. We expect all members to be able to perform any of the roles that are required on each diving operation. This may mean Coxwain of our boat or First Aid administration, whatever it is we need to know you can cope.

If you're unsure or would just like to meet up and talk things through, get in touch.

As we stated on the Home Page, we understand that the physics and practicalities of diving are the same no matter which training organisation a diver has qualified with. Above all, we embrace common sense. Our team are all knowledgeable and approachable.

So, if you are a Dive Leader/Dive Master, or you are working towards this level of qualification. With a minimum of sixty logged dives and ideally hold at least four of the following additional qualifications, why not get in touch.

  • Boat Handler
  • Radio Operator
  • First Aid Certified
  • Oxygen Administrator
  • Hold a Sea Survival Certification
  • Trained in the use of Underwater Communications and Full Face Diving Equipment

If you haven't quite achieved these qualifications yet and would like to continue, we can help with your training. Use the contact form here on our website, or contact David Pring or Nick Hammond c/o the Pembroke Dock, Heritage Centre, The Royal Dockyard.
